How to Use the Advanced Search on FC&S

FC&S has an advanced search function now to make it even easier to find exactly what you need.

Many users are not aware that when we moved to the new platform we added an advanced search feature to FC&S, so that you can quickly and easily find exactly what you’re looking for. 

Let’s walk through where it is and how to use it. First, enter a search term, for example water backup. Click on the search button. That comes back with ninety-six results. You can do two things from here. First, scroll down on the left hand side and notice that you can sort by date range, or that you can Filter This Search by line of business or Content Type. You can do both at the same time; the numbers in parentheses indicate how many of that type of article are in FC&S.
